Zedex Gold is advancing three exploration and development projects across three key regions: the Hauraki Goldfield, the Orepuki Goldfield and the Taupō Volcanic Zone.
Each has been selected for its strong discovery potential, accessibility and stable operating environment.
Project summary
Valuable projects ready to perform
Hauraki Goldfield
Coromandel Region
A historically productive goldfield where modern exploration is defining new opportunities.
Taupō Volcanic Zone
Central North Island
Three exploration projects targeting epithermal gold-silver systems within an active volcanic region.
Orepuki Goldfield
Southland
A large-scale copper-gold system supported by strong geophysical signatures and emerging mineralisation.

Portfolio overview
Our portfolio
Our portfolio covers gold and copper-gold projects located within prolific, high-grade gold-producing regions.
Several of our projects demonstrate multi-million-ounce discovery potential, with four of the six now drill-ready and targeting confirmed epithermal and porphyry-style systems with strong indications of mineralisation.
Through detailed mapping, geophysical modelling and field-based validation, we continue to refine targets and define new opportunities across portfolios.
Coromandel Region
Hauraki Goldfield
Located in the Coromandel, the Hauraki region sits within one of New Zealand’s most productive mineral belts. Home to the historic Broken Hills Mine, the Hauraki Gold Region hosts a confirmed low-sulphidation epithermal gold-silver system with multiple untested structures. This project represents a rare opportunity within one of New Zealand’s most historically productive mineral belts.
Our current work includes the historic Broken Hills Mine in Tairua, where we are continuing the Rabone family’s legacy of care for the land and respect for community.

Central North Island
Taupō Volcanic Zone
Located in the central North Island, the Taupō Volcanic Zone hosts three Zedex projects: Forest Road, Ohakuri North and Ohakuri South, covering more than 60 square kilometres.
These projects target low-sulphidation epithermal gold-silver systems with high-grade historic intercepts and multiple magnetic-low corridors analogous to the Martha Vein in Waihi.

Southland
Orepuki Goldfield
Located in Southland, the Orepuki Goldfield targets a copper–gold porphyry and mesothermal gold system across 130 square kilometres, defined by a strong annular magnetic anomaly and confirmed sulphide mineralisation.
With drill-ready prospects and new mineralised quartz discoveries, the Orepuki Goldfield is positioned for significant resource growth potential.
